According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Neeraj Pandey’s romantic saga “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” and Sudhanshu Saria’s spy thriller “Ulajh” have both struggled to sell tickets. In pre-sales, managed to sell less than ₹1000 tickets, while “Ulajh” fared worse, selling fewer than 750 tickets. This performance is notably lower compared to recent releases, such as Sudha Kongara’s “Sarfira” starring Akshay Kumar, which performed significantly better last month.

Box Office Projections

As per Sacnilk, The film has collected ₹49.79 lakh at the box office so far and is projected to finish between ₹2 and ₹3 crore on its opening day. On the other hand, estimated to finish even lower, with projections ranging between ₹1 and ₹2 crore on Friday. These numbers are underwhelming, especially after the success of last week’s solo release, Shawn Levy’s “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which made a significant impact at the domestic box office.

Delayed Releases and Competition

The release of film was initially scheduled for July 5 but was postponed due to the overwhelming success of Nag Ashwin’s dystopian sci-fi epic “Kalki 2898 AD.” Distributors requested a new release date to avoid clashing with the holdover hit. Similarly faced multiple delays before finally hitting the theaters this week.

The movie is directed by Neeraj Pandey, is a love story spanning decades and marks the tenth collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Tabu.
